Default HELP! Test pipe install !

I just installed my passanger side AAM test pipe for my 07. the top bolt on the driver side is impossible to get off. i cant get there fwith a breaker bar because of the steering shaft. can someone please help with any suggestions of how to take the damn thing off?

You need extensions and Joints. Make sure to spray some penetrating oil first...and use your muscles.

Spray nut with some WD40, remove driver side intake tube. Get very long extension. Remove nut from the top.

+1 remove the intake, takes like a 2 foot extension tool.

Mark the coupler and top shaft. Remove the coupler. That should give you more room to work. Put the coupler back the same way that you took it off.

NOTE: Aligning the steering wheel is a pain in the butt.

CAUTION: If you have VDC no not disconnect the steering shaft.

Thanks for all the help guys. Im just gonna try every single possible entry point tonight and see if i can take it off. If not, ill just burn it off with a torch tomorrow, most people said that causes the bolt to snap off.

You do NOT have to remove the steering knuckle to install test pipes.

You need to have a couple of long extensions and get them from the top of the car, through the engine bay.

Do a search and you will find literally dozens of threads with the same question.
