Default Nismo Cai???

Anyone heard anything on the NISMO CAI? Any pictures, or gaines in HP? Anyone know anything about it?

Funny you mention it. Performance Nissan called me and told me it was in. I will take a picture this afternoon.

No but I'm sure it sucks ***, as does the rest of the Nismo lineup, with regards to both performance and pricing.

Seriously, To the best of my knowledge, the Nismo CAI is the AEM with a 25-30% markup.

haha...it looks exactly like a AEM cai w/ bypass valve...except it's black and had a nismo sitcker on it...

That's a shame. I had high hopes for a different design.

Is anyone gonna get this now? Or are you just gonna stick with your current setups?

Well I have it on now it was too late once i finished to take pics...

First off it was a real pain in the *** to put in. Second the quality is not what I expected. and third it yields a 5.4 Hp gain.

Hmmm...It will do for now I guess but I think ima have to change it.

I see what you guys put about it looking like the AEM...but once you install it it is nothing like it trust me. I will post pics with detail tomorrow.

i agree, the nismo kit looks SIMILAR, but there is some differnce. i personally saw Z Powered's car today at performance nissan, it looks good, but i left before i could hear it.

Yeah, the sound is wonderful. daytona350z you'll have to make a trip back out there on thursday of next week, I'll have the headers exhaust flywheel on with the CAI. See what it sounds like let you take it for a drive...
