No, you open the valve when it's cold out. You close it when it's warm out, for max performance.

Eazzy is correct. It's on the driver's side. Look under your intake tube. You should be able to see/reach it from there. When the lever is perpendicular to the valve, it is Closed. When it runs parallel, then it's Open.

I installed the 5/16" spacer and it runs like a champ. Quick question. I didn't install the stock upper plenum gasket that is a huge piece with the baffle gasket attached? Is this an issue? The instructions say it works either way. I just want clarification. Thanks!

Technically, its not good to have more than one gasket, but in practice, its never been a problem. So it comes down to personal preference.

If you were leasing the car or planned on selling it in the near future, you can keep the stock gasket in there with no problem.
That way when you turn the car in or sell it, all you have to do is take out the spacer and the stock gasket is already there to seal against the stock upper plenum.

You can sell the spacer pretty easily online and get a good portion of your money back.

So I would tighten it but it wouldn't stop it keeps going but its not tightening, this happened on a couple of my bolts.

I didn't know how much it was going to affect the air coming into my engine so I started it up and idle and everything is fine. I took it for a test drive and when i punch the gas i can hear a loud squeek which I am sure is because of the screws not tightening for some reason.

What am I supposed to do, it doesn't really make sense to me why it wont tighten.. :/
I find it funny that your avatar says, "STFU NOOB!!!"

Just tighten the threaded brass horse barb fittings down with enough to torque to make a seal with pipe thread putty. It doesn't need a whole lot of force.
