Something wrong with nismo?
Im completly baffed at the above comment. I read the same thing somewhere else too. I find that the only difference with the nismo is that its louder under 3k rpm. If you have it in say 5th gear for us 5AT guys and floor it it sounds deep, then as it gets a little passed 3200 it sounds stock. I havent had anyone drive my car past me since I just got it on but Im not sure how it sounds like WOT going by. Im sure better than stock. But so far i only tell that its louder under 3k.
I don't uderstand either statement because I can definitely tell the difference no matter where in the RPM range it is. Less difference in low rpms without HFCs but definie difference.

NO, the nismo is DEF less loud in the low RPMS than stock
when your going 2k with the NIsmo, all you hear is...the slight sound of air blowing. with the stock, going in 2k rpm you can clearly hear the distinct VQ sound.
ABOVE 3k RPM, is when the Nismo is loud.
Accordaleer, you said that under 3k is when you think its loud? which is strange to me
oh yeah, the nismo DOES NOT retain that VQ note i have no idea why everyone says that. AlvinHuyn is one guy who understands what i mean

NISMO EXHAUST = JUNK
but what do I know i've almost owned every exhaust made for the z. Haha except the more expensive titanium ones.
Im not a big fan of dual exhaust on our cars anymore. After riding around with a single and then putting the stock back on for a while. The pipes just look to close together to me. Im rolling my bumper up next weekend to take care of that second hole. Single exhaust ftmfw.
