Default Code from TPs

Hey guys, before you flame me please read the whole post and let me know what you think.

This Friday I am getting my Helix Test Pipes put on with an HKS Hi Power Exhaust System. I have some concerns about the possible codes that may come from the Test Pipes. As most of you may already know, the Helix Test Pipes come with a set of somewhat "built-on" nonfoulers that are claimed to fix the problem. Despite this however, I have heard of some trouble still with the "built-on" nonfoulers so I purchased another set...

Basically what I am asking is, if anybody has this setup, please let me know how you are dealing with the problem. If anybody has an educated opinion on whether the nonfoulers will fix the problem since there is essentially two sets on. And lastly, if a code and CEL is inevitable, how can I reflash it and perhaps get it to realize that nothing is wrong.

Thanks all for your help, and I did not find another thread with this exact post so that is my reasoning for posting.

Install your TPs. If the light comes on, reset, and add a set of non-foulers. If that does'nt work, bump this thread and go from there. Where in FL are you?

How about a photo of the test pipe with a “built-in non-fouler.”

That is what I have gathered? Or perhaps that is by far the easiest.

We shall see tomorrow as I plan to have it installed around lunch time. I'll let you all know immediately how it turns out.

Keep the posts coming though!
Thanks ALL!

I'm running an HKS HI Power w/Berk TPs w/Cel Fix built in. Got the 420/430 codes after forty miles--I have a Scan Gauge II (going to be mounted in the dash cubby) that I use to clear them when they occur.

Wondering how your project came out...or if you found a flash to adjust/trick the O2 sensor reading.
