Default Plenum spacer Question!!

Since ive got my 350Z 2 days ago, my homies keep telling me about a plenum spacer. Ive heard it helps gain horsepower, but i dont even know how it works!?
If its a good buy, what size would be best for my 2006 Z!?

Depends on if you are planning to use the stock strut bar or use something different. Stock strut bar 5/16ths with most other strut bars 1/2 inch and go with the thermal offering from MotoDyne, also Intense is selling a new in house product at much better pricing. Good luck either way, you can search there are literally 100's of threads on the topic here.

I have a question. For some reason the bolts in the center come loose after I installed the plenum spacer. I torqued everything down to specs. I had to reuse my stock bolts and I used some washers with rubber on one side. You think the rubber is preventing the proper closure or seal

I don’t have great concern about the center bolts. But if you want use a little Loktite.

Um... are the stock bolts even long enough for the spacer? All mine were way shorter than the supplied bolts. At least they were with my 5/16" MD spacer.

i dont know how i feel about it-just the upper seems like it loses that smooth pull all the way up,and it causes the dash to vibrate- just get both parts from motordyne do a cb with tp,headers,k&n drop in,and then get some kind of tune, other wise i dont think its really worth doing first-but thats mo.
