I think your filter being very dirty is probably the culprit. My Z has died on me a couple of times when I rev out above 4K or so and then press the clutch in as well. Im not to worried about it, I think its fairly normal as long as it doesnt happen often.
I'm pretty sure this is normal problem...they heatsoak easily and it'll kill the engine if you throw it in neutral and the RPM's crash too fast. try cleanin the filter and clean off the MAF. do you have the heatshield installed (not that the JWT heatshield does much)?

Other than this which was my bad, I’ve never had a problem with it and it sounds great! No Filter = Max Air Flow LMAO! Had me laughing nothix.

I'm sorry to have wasted your time guys but you had great suggestions and speedy responses. THANX!!!
P.S. I hope the engine didn't suck in anything while it was off. =(

so this just happened to me on my way home, was driving normally and all, just threw it neutral while coming to a stop sign and the thing died on me. I installed the JWT popcharger yesterday.
I pulled off the neg battery cable for the night will see how it works tomorrow.

didnt work too well.
reconnected the cable, turned it on let it warm up, bout 9mins, drove and maybe 3mins later it died on me.
almost died on me again about 2 mins later stuttered then caught itself. no loss in power though
my mechanic said it needs throttle relearn via dealership, but we will see
