Question HKS Hi Power Post Install Pics...Lopsided?

The HKS went on an 08 350z NISMO edition...however, it seems the left muffler sits higher than the right.

Post Install Shots

Thought about just bending the left hanger a little...bad idea?

i can't see your pictures because i'm at work but it's a pretty common problem for one side to be slightly off from the other side. When i had an invidia G200, my left side drooped slighly lower then the right. The mechanic bent the hanger a little bit and problem solved. But again, i cant see your pics so i don't know how drastic your differances are.

You'll see from the pics, the left hangs a bit higher-and is touching the bumper. It's going back on the lift tomorrow so I can bend the hanger just a little.

Before I bend the metal hanger on the car, does anyone know if there's a slightly longer rubber bushing that I might use instead?

When I went back to check, the pipes nor anything else was touching the bumper and I could get a finger between the tip and bumper in all places.

Could you post more pics please. Preferably shots of the entire rear section.

I haven't seen to many NISMOs with aftermarket exhausts. I'm thinking about the HKS too.

Sure...when I get home from work tomorrow, I'll take a few angles. I'm also going to post a video--better than this one:
HKS Hi Power True Dual system

This one is not very good--too much wind and not enough recorded.

What is that extra canister on each side for? Is that a resonator?

I'm not entirely sure what that canister is or does--resonator, I would guess.

BTW...went to bend the hanger today but have determined that I can't...lowering it enough for the canister to clear the bumper would be too low...and there's no way that I can see to adust it otherwise.

About all I can think of is to make a small half-moon incision (about 1/2") so that the cansister isn't touching.

I'll get back under the car when the TPs go in...

How do you guys keep the exhaust from touching the big "M" or "W" shapped cross member? My HKS is sitting on that and it rattles.

So far, no burn or melting...not even any vibration...when the TPs go in...maybe I won't have to bother w/the cutting the rear bumper.
