yesterday i got my hks true dual installed and when i started to drive it it started to smell bad its that ok just because its new or do i have a problem

 

reach inside while its hot to see if theres something burning...

 

It is new exhaust system, supposed to smell bad while it burns in, make sure you have no leaks and you be fine. How's the sound???

 

My HKS doesn't smell too great either. I think that may be due to my test pipes though ;-)

You can sell the Z if the smell is bothering you.

Perfectly normal. Your exhaust will stink and you'll get a fine white smoke coming out of it the first hundred or so miles while it's being burned in. After that, you should be fine...unless you plan on running test pipes and that refreshing smell stays with you
