Ok I searched and the other day I found a "hard reset" in that you push the brake pedal and pump it and whatever else to reset the ECU. I now cant find that thread and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks.
ok i did this today... and i shamefully admit it took me 2 1/2 times to nail it just right.... but once i completed this i would go to start my car and it would stall... basically it would crank.. and where the rpms would "catch" upon returning to idle... the needle would fall all the way down and stall.... im really iffy about trying this again to say the least... anyway... i managed to keep it from stalling by giving it a couple quick taps on the gas and took it out for a drive... overall the engine feels like it performs better between down shifting and catching rpms during shifting... but this start-up stalling ahs got me pretty nervous... someone please let me know hot to fix this... i have a 2003 performance 6 speed manual... like i said after doing this the car felt like it performed much much better... but... lol the start up went wrong somehwere
yea i need to search for that one and do it tomorrow... thanks... but the car runs great... how it runs so great with a horrible start up doesnt make sense to me but... oh well lol
