Default Done some mods today

Hey all,

Been saving my money and just fitted a motordyne plenum spacer, MREV2 lower collector and a polished plenum cover. Have not had a chance to take it out for a spin yet. I have also fitted my NISMO induction kit.

Am I going to notice any differences?

Ashley

You may feel better responsiveness and a little something in the higher RPM band from the spacer. 5/16" or 1/2"? Basic, Thermal, or Copper Thermal?

MD is definitely a great choice!

if you have a 06 you should notice a decent gain in the mid torque and through the rpm's with the mrev and spacer. let us know what ya think

Typically yes, but what is felt can be subjective.

One guy installed his on the dyno and made around 17HP 22TQ. He then took it for a quick spin around the block and when he came back to the dyno shop he had a huge silly grin on his face. He totally felt it. (I've actually seen people have this reaction many times at the dyno shop. And this is the more typical response.)

Another guy in NY installed his on the dyno and dynod a whoping 20HP 30TQ gain. When he drove home he couldn't feel it.

Either way, it will make the HP and TQ gains but the butt dyno can be very subjective.

Will you have gains, Yes. Will you feel the gain, don't know. Best way is to have a before dyno or 1/4 time and after. Congrats and love to see pics of the engine bay.

It also depends on your butt's correction factor and if its a load-bearing or not.
