Default quiet down my exhaust???

Anyone use those silencers for mufflers? I have headers, resonated testpipes, and true dauls, and I love the sound and the setup, but apparently its just a lotta bit too loud for the local police officers. I was thinking about trying to use these as a way to quiet it down, than just take them out when I get to the track... unless someone else has a better idea, or used them before and they suck... All help is greatly appreciated!

trade out your test pipes for HFC, that will quieten it down a bit.

i am actually trying to do the least amount of money spent to do it, and i want something that i can literally show up at the track and just take right out... what i was thinking of is like the silencers Altered Atmosphere uses in their exhausts... but i dont know if anyone has ever used them to know how well they work...

HKS is pretty loud with test pipes. It's just a bad combination if you are looking for quietness. HKS does make silencers in a few sizes, not sure if any will work on ours though, I think they are more for the singles.

well what i was thinkin of doing was getting some of the generic ones at a local auto store and then just drillin another hole on the opposite side of it to make it fit in where the bolts for the tips are... than just have those two bolts hold everythin together.

I run silencers and IMO they look like ****. How am I going to make my car not as loud and allow me to run a straight exhaust?

Turbo!

I definitely wouldn't run the generic ones. If you're going to do it, spend the 50 bucks and get some that will do something.
