The stock strut tower brace is adjustable. Loosen the adjustment nuts in the center of the strut brace.

A correct removal/install of the strut brace should include loosening it up before the brackets are removed, and tightening them down after they are bolted back down. Not doing so will lead to cross threaded strut brace bolt holes.

Put a bar on the end of the ratchet handle and try that way, more torque that way...

I only had issues with one of the bolts, it was a pain to get out. It looked like it was put in wrong from the factory. Get yourself a longer bar so you can get better leverage, you don't need to be the strongest guy to brake those loose. Just use your head a little more. Good luck.

On the strut bar, on the passenger side - loosen the two 14mm bolts on the outside first. The middle one is to adjust the length of the bar. If you can't get it off try some penetrating spray or a breaker bar. It shouldn't be that hard.

Yep, exactly what I said above really. I'd be careful under there with a breaker bar though. I've never seen them tight enough to require one unless a mechanic just got sloppy with an impact gun.

yea and try using a breaker bar for leverage
or a pipe should help on the end of the wrench but remember to torque it to spec

just do what taurran said, make sure you loosen the tension first, they should come off no problem.

There should be no lateral tension on these bolts.
