Default Nismo exhaust

Does anybody know who makes the Nismo exhaust?
Is it Nissan? Where can I find published data from Nismo
about the exhaust and CAI hp gains?

the nismo exhaust is made by weldina. i saw this fine piece of work in person, and damn, it's a pretty clean exhaust. the welds are too nice. as for quoted hp gains with a cai and exhaust, a search engine will be your best bet.

NMC "claims" the following:
CAI, 5.5hp and the cat back, 6hp.

NISMO = Fujitsubo

Weldina is just a name NISMO uses.

If you search for Weldina you'll only find NISMO exhausts.

The nismo looks really well made, but its numbers seem on the lower end of the Exhuast list...

Also the price seems a little high.... Theres a exhaust/header package by Borla, it cost the same as one nismo exhaust with double the gains....Not to mention, the NISMO isnt a full dual exhaust.... And then there's GREDDY... There products should be ready soon... *They said available this summer*

To many choices... each having some sort of value added characteristic.

Just make sure the numbers your being quoted are at the rear wheels on a dyno, not just an engine dyno. "Might" be part of the reason.

Yes,

I saw both the NISMO exhaust and CAI at my local Nissan dealership parts floor. Both are very good construction using first rate materials.

But their biggest advantage, in my opinion, is that there will never be any question when it comes to warranty. I may change out these 'bolt-ons' for something else after the warranty expires, but I feel these are the way to go on the car while still under the warranty blanket.

Just my $0.02.
