If it's from Motordyne, it's not going to be BS.

Tony's been around for quite a while now, even though a million other companies have put out exhausts, Tony has put likely thousands of hours of research into this exhaust (he's been working on it for at least a good 3 years IIRC)

You best believe it's going to work, I really don't think you can say the same thing for most of the companies that released their exhausts hastily.

+1 The spacer was overpriced. I grimace at the thought of what this will cost.

Nope, but I can argue with his pricing. I got a superior quality spacer for less price.

Agree. Motordyne has yet to disappoint us with any product.

It sounds, to me, like Motordyne is developing some sort of variable backpressure exhaust. Maybe at super low rpms, it has alot of backpressure.....thus adding 40 ft-lb of torque right off idle.

as rpms and flow rises, the backpressure of the exhaust will decrease.

If done properly, the exhaust system can be maximized to give the most gains possible at all rpms.

BTW, the gains won't be 40ft-lb greater at peak torque.

of course, this is just my guess as to what Tony is coming out with.....but it is probably a pretty good guess.

Sounds like it will be a modular exhaust.

This isn't just a single system that you buy where you are stuck with what you bought and that's it. There is much, much more.

While writing this reply to your question, I wrote several more paragraphs of detailed descriptions on the unique and innovative technical aspects of this exhaust system... but for now, I had to self censor. At least until the launch date.

(patent atty's advice)

There is so much more I would like to say, but I can't just yet.
What I can say is, I know you will really appreciate the technical details of this system when I can finally release it.

There is nothing else like it.

Well, it is possible. And as of today, 20+HP/30+ TQ on the intake side has been regularly, consistantly and independantly demonstrated countless times.

40+TQ on the exhaust? Why shouldn't it be possible? ....I already dynod it. In due time, you will see.

All the time and investment in R&D has yeilded a new technology. I found a way to completely manipulate the power curve. And I can do it on any engine. A 350Z, a G35, a Civic, a deisel truck, a rotory engine or a lawn mower. It's all the same.

Other than being an independant NA component separate from the soon to be released Motordyne exhaust system, this component will go through more of the patent process before I release any details on it.

Note: It will be presented to Nissan, Toyota, BMW, GM, etc before it's released here.

...And haters won't goat me into saying anything more.

Sounds to me like you've developed a gem Tony. Definetly protect your IP. When it is time for a release, I'm sure it will be a big hit.
