This exhaust gives you 10hp and 40ft/lbs w/o even having to install it on the car?? What exactly claims to give you 40 ft/lbs of torque?

Lol. More scammed numbers. I guess Nissan engineers must have completely missed something if they knew 40ft/lbs torque was easily achievable from an exhaust modification.

I can see this thread in a few days getting bigger and being completely pointless.

The op is confused.

Tony is developing exhaust systems, but also mentioned the development of an "exhaust component" that will yield 40 lbs/ trq. in addition to gains of the exhaust. He is not revealing any more details on this exhaust component for the moment due to patent process. This came straight from the mouth of Tony of Motordyne.

The exhausts should be released way before this "exhaust component" according to Tony. Also, he stated that this component could be revolutionary and he has been looking into approaching car manufacturers with this "component".

Only time will tell. Could be some sort of suction device--dunno--definetly not a cutout and its' not ********, but the op's post is misleading.

Tony also stated that he would be making a release thread when the time comes for sales.

some teaser quotes from the my350z thread for anybody who's lazy:

But this is not engine specific. It can be applied to any engine.

As such, the patent process requires extreme care.

If it was specific to just the Z, it would be released now.
Its universal nature may require an approach to Nissan, GM, BMW or similar.

In any case, nothing is being done until the patent application is officially recognized by the USPTO.

patiently waiting...

EDIT: g35driver thread is more recent and according to that thread...it may be coming soon. there is a pic of it in Nissan Sport if anyone has it.

^^The pic in nissan sport is one of MD's exhausts, not the exhaust "component" claimed to make 40 trq.
