Are there no flex sections present in the exhaust chain?

I can't really tell from the pic and haven't seen it firsthand.

I'm curious as to what the modification is. MD does have a solid reputation for producing some quality products. And I have yet to see another manufacturer provide the level of support as them.

Yes, there are flex lines in the system. I wouldn't do without them.

It doesn't look like it. Looks like there's 3 sections: y-pipe, mid-pipe, mufflers.

EDIT, Tony just said there were flex sections.

Funny how I was thinking about when PM'ing Tony about his exhaust (which I have been waiting on for years now) last night before going to bed and to see this thread today.

You best believe it's going to work, I really don't think you can say the same thing for most of the companies that released their exhausts hastily.
+1 on everything.

If done properly, the exhaust system can be maximized to give the most gains possible at all rpms.

BTW, the gains won't be 40ft-lb greater at peak torque.

of course, this is just my guess as to what Tony is coming out with.....but it is probably a pretty good guess.
That's the first thing that popped up in my head. But how's that revolutionary? Other high end cars have this already (i.e., LP640), don't they? Maybe it's not electronically (based on RPM (?) ) controlled like the Lambo one.

No electric conversion kits for the Z LOL!
...but the day electric engines ever become common and installed into a car even remotely sporty, I already have plans to get more HP out of it.

You are right about the exhaust but don't hold your breath on the other mod. It can not be rushed.

I've been searching and waiting for your exhaust since you spoke of ideas you had, AWHILE ago.

Is the the other mod what yielded the huge gain?

Just curious, have you started development for any HR-specific components?

Nothing only for the HR, but all of these exhaust components are fully compatible with all 350Z's 2003-2008.

The funny thing is that you will be running around with 40lbs of extra torque for months before it's been seen by the public. Now thats sick with it.....

not fair....man doesnt patent process an attention from GM etc take years . Cause they normally view inventions and duplicate it themelves on a different level.

much respect tony....damn looks like this is gonna take a while variable pressure exhausts systems there saying ..althought not reveolutionary because its already been developed , maybey the design versititlity of this unit hes making will be the key thing. cant wait. Being none platform speciific i would assume its a bolt on component somewhere in the exhaust sections.
