learn to read. this thread is quickly taking a nose dive and they already cleaned it up.

1 - it is modular, i.e. you can probably put it together for any system you want (piping sizes, etc). if he offers the right piping diameters then yes it is useable for FI.
2 - the exhaust system does not gain you 40tq this 'component' is a separate piece that is not being released anytime soon, and also has NOTHING to do with his exhaust. it's brand neutral. forget about it.
3 - don't be stupid.

Those tips look like something someone would put on a VW Beetle.

The diffusers aren't there by chance. They have a functional purpose.

If i'm mistaken, doesn't patents take years in order to complete? **(just looked it up, takes an avg. of 24.6 months)**

So we are quite aways out to see this mystery part depending on when the patent application has been sent out and received..

Sorry but you need to relax on policing this thread, and he did not once speak of when he had either submitted the application or of when it will be approved.

All were of hints of not to "hold our breaths"...

I don't appreciate my posts getting deleted. This is not a vendor thread and people are entitled to post their opinions about this exhaust whether good, bad, or indifferent.

Politics and silencing the naysayers FTL.

How about giving your opinion in a way that is not designed to deliberately **** people off? There's a big difference between saying

"I don't like how this exhaust looks"

and what you said. Also may I point out that you seem to be ignoring the fact that the exhaust will come in several different styles (you're either ignoring it on purpose or you're just so intent on nay-saying that you fail to read the thread)

It's blatantly clear what your opinion is; so if you continue your thread-crapping I am going to ban you on this article of the TOU:

10.) HARASSMENT/FLAMING
Any harassment of other members will not be tolerated. Name calling, picking fights, etc. Do not make posts that incite arguments, or any post that turns to arguments and flame wars, etc. Posts of this nature will not be tolerated and can result in the immediate closing or deletion or editing of the post and the banishment of the posting members account. Any insults or harassments towards staff members will result in instant banishment.

I didnt see any name calling, and this isnt like trashing a vendor thread cause it isnt. He probably could have been more stuble about it, but whats not fair is that the vendor in question has done his share of violations of the rule #10 you just mentioned in another vendors thread too.

Yes, true. That is the average. And I hope it goes faster.
But then again, it only needs to go far enough into the system to reach a point where its at least accepted for review in the USPTO.

a) No action was taken yet
b) Hydrazine is not on trial here
c) There is more than name calling listed in tou #10

please let it go, and let the moderators do our job... I personally don't like banning people and try to avoid it when possible. however we are put in difficult situations and sometimes decisions have to be made. what moderators REALLY don't appreciate is people continually making our lives more difficult by hanging on "The Edge" of what is allowed and what is not. There are a few very stupid people on this site that blatantly violate the TOU, they get banned and we call it a day. However there are a lot of SMART people on this site as well, who can read the TOU and find infinite ways to be d-bags without violating anything.

The TOU was not written by lawyers, and it is not a set of laws, so one cannot simply hide behind the TOU based on technicalities. In real life you can get away with anything that's not strictly "against the law," but that is not the case here.

The TOU is a set of guidelines and the moderators are here for interpretation of it.

In other words, as soon as the patent is pending. So we may see this revealed as early as eight months then?

I don't understand why so many people insist on coming in here and b*tching. Give him the time he needs. End of story.
