Default Question about AAM single (loudness factor)

I'm looking into getting a AAM single with y-pipe for my 07, but i don't know how "loud" it is. I heard eric the ricer's exhaust and it was pretty loud but he also had test pipes i believe. Will it still be that loud with stock cats? I don't mind my exhaust turning heads but i'm not trying to get a ticket from it or go deaf enjoying it.

So if you have the exhaust how loud is it really? If it's too loud i'll have to look into the greddy ti-c single.

I have an 07 and was looking to go the same route, however i talked to a lot of people who sold it because it was too loud. If its your daily driver i would just consider those factors. If not go for it. But, i do know people have said they got a ticket for that exhaust. Your call and good luck. Im looking at the duel AAM

both the greddy and aam are gonna be loud if you mate them with test pipes. if you want to keep the sound down then go with hfcs or stick with stock cats.

for the y-pipes i was talking about the greddy exhaust. My plan was to stick with the stock cats for a while. so can i run the aam with stock cats and not worry about getting tickets?

i got the single with AAM high flow cats and its not too loud. when i first got it on there i couldnt stop revving it so it did turn a few heads, but its a nice, deep and throaty sound. its not a can of bees when you get on the gas!

when you start the car up and its still cold itll definitely be something to get used to. i highly recommend this product!

Hey man, just saw this thread. Did you hear my car in person, or via video? Yes, the test pipes make it loud, so if you want to be a little less noticed, stay stock cats. HFC will be a tad louder, and test pipes is just sexy

My car is in stock form right now (exhaust wise) and I absolutely.....HATE IT. When I start my car, its a let down each time. I can't hear the car at all. I've never had to use my tach before, but I do now haha. I miss my single.........
