Default Exhausts for Sale on Ebay

Hi guys,

I have found 2 exhaust systems for sale but I am wondering if they will be any good for me.

One is a APS True Dual System like this for $1300 AU
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&ih=009
I think this maybe designed for turbo applications though.

And the other is a HKS True Dual for $1500 AU

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&ih=011
I was going to get the Nismo exhaust because I am only doing a Intake, Spacer and exhaust mods.

Should I just stick with the Nismo because I am staying N/A on my 04 Roadster?

Thanks,

There is no reason not to get one of the ones you linked. They will be fine for turbo applications or n/a. I think you would only have issues if you tried to use that exhaust with a single turbo kit.

Thanks for that Z04. I have read that thread 20 times. I want to know if the 2 above exhausts are suitable for my NA car.

I read somewhere else that true dual exhausts lose torque compared to Nismo S tune exhausts.

I think both look legit and will work just fine. Do you plan on using a
utec/fcon controller for tuning in the future? You should take a moment
and listen to the exhaust notes on youtube to make sure you like
what you hear.

No. I am only ever going to leave it stock. Intake, spacer and exhaust is the most I will ever do. If I go further I would get a different car.

It doesn't matter if you get an HKS, Nismo , GReddy, or whatever. They all offer some kind of performance that you are not going to feel in the driver's seat. You should be basing your judgement on how you want your car to sound. Go listen to sound clips on youtube.

to know "almost" all what you need to know about APS 2.5" TD exhaust on N/A 350Z,
read my threads (from buying ,receiving ,installing ,driving ,WHP gain on daynojet ,adding Berk HFC ,problems and how to solve it ......etc) and in 15 days or so i`ll receive MD iso thermal plenum spacer if you would like to wait and see what happened
hope that would help you about APS
now i like it so much, after i solved most of the problems only:
1) the low-end torque loss ,still working on it although i gain most of it back (you`ll see how)
2) and the RASP after the HFC installed,, still there but less than most of the exhaust+HFC/TP comb ,,its deeper rasp . (its in 99.9% comb of aftermarket exhaust+ HFC ,,,has not been solved any where lets hope something would come up would fix it)
Edit : mmm i don`t think you need to see the threads any more lool

honestly dude, save your money and get the bassani true dual exhaust. its cheaper and it gains more. it sounds stock but louder. the aps exhaust will make your car loose power because that is an exhaust for turbochared cars and the hks wont gain as much as the bassani and will completly change the sound of your car. go to youtube and search 350z bassani.

I will check out the Bassani tonight.
The hard part for me is getting them to Australia. A Nismo exhaust will cost me $1500AU (about $1400 US) landed.

The above exhausts are already here on Ebay.

I just want a true bolt on exhaust. I don't want to have to fix any problems caused by it.
