Default Can not make up my mind.... Fuji with HFC or...

Hey Guys,

Just seeing what you guys might think. Deciding on getting the Fujitsubo Legalis R SS without Y pipe, and with Crawford HFCs, or dump the HFC and get the Y pipe...

I like how clean the exhaust sounds.... Don't want it to be too loud, but with good performance...

Can only spend around $1500...

I have the fujitsubo legalis-R with JIC y-pipe and I can say it's not very loud. It does have a very nice tone in my opinion and it's louder than stock I think, but not one of the louder ones out there. Here are a few sound clips I took after installing the system, in case it helps your decision:

The Fujitsubo exhaust is pretty much the same thing as the Nismo exhaust, the only difference would be the tips and the fact that the Fujitsubo doesn't include a y-pipe. Some say the Fujitsubo is relatively quieter than the Nismo, but I cannot confirm that.

If you add Berk HFC to the Fujitsubo, I think it would sound sweet.

I have a similar setup: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMuiW2SQpoU

i have fuji exhaust, fuji y-pipe, fast intentions hfc, and strup headers
this is still a mild sounding setup, at times i wish it was louder but
other times it is good, wish i had some sound clips for you-most peope
who have heard it like it

but nowhere close to the sound i heard today, my friend just bought a
94 viper with big throttle bodies, exhaust, and test pipes-that sounded
good-my son was standing next to the car when i started it up and he
said his shoelaces started to blow around after start up due to high
exhaust flow/output

Thx for the feedback guys... Sry: that Fuji sounds good, not loud at all... I think I might have made up my mind.

You guys notice some good throttle response and increase in power when dirving around city?. wouldn't think there would be lots, but there has to be some.
