I had a single outlet exhaust before coming off this set up but it was WAY TOOOOO LOUD. It looked awesome in my opinion and it sounded mean at WOT but I looked like a ***** when I was just trying to drive through a shopping center parking lot at 5 mph.
So I put the stock muffler back on (still have test pipes and AAM y pipe) but now...it is too quiet. I did however find some low end torque.
Does anyone have any good suggestions for something nice and that won't compromise my hearing and performance.

I feel like i lost alot of power with the single though. Its 3 inch exhaust meant for turbo.
I was thinking like an axle back nismo or something around those lines

My setup is perfect in my opinion. I started with the borla and stock cats, but it was too quiet. So I ordered some test pipes, then it was too raspy and loud. I installed a magnaflow x-pipe in place of my H and now it's perfect. It is clean sounding with no rasp, and it makes power.

^ 3" single is fine with N/A setup, everybody has their own taste of sounds, imo test pipe makes loud with any exhaust system.
but i will say go look for dual exhaust system.

I have Legalis R right now, and I have a busted y-pipe (Fujitsubo as well)...flex joints are wrecked. So I am going test pipes and a new y-pipe since I already have Topspeed headers and the cat-back.
Now my quest is finding a decent y-pipe that isn't $500, and resonated test pipes with the least rasp for the Leg R.

Well...in case anyone cares...i checked out a few different set ups and decided to go to a custom muffler shop around the corner from my work.
We decided that with what i wanted it just made more sense to take out the resonator in the stock exhaust. So the guy had at it. Cut it out and welded a straight stainless pipe to the exhaust.
It sounds a little bit louder than stock when i am normally driving and when i get on it...WOW...its a little raspy..not much though due to the TP, but it screams.
So for now I am happy with this set up. Saved me alot of $$.

Never mind. Car is much louder and raspier than expected. I let my buddy drive it and I stood outside. Sh$t!
I am guessing that now I am going to have to put the resonator back on. Is there such thing as a high flow resonator.

A lot of muffler shops carry aftermarket resonators. It basically slows down the sound of the exhaust, but still gives you the performance. I have a custom 2.5" resonator on my single Apex'i N1 system.
Is that $180 to install and purchase the resonator, if so that seems reasonable.
I suggest checking out the few systems Tanabe offers:
