that one is the copy of the copy. but whatever, just remember that it was cheap when it rusts off.

Sorry for bring back an old thread. Question though. I just found this same exhaust on eBay, was actually looking for used HKS or new XO2. I know stainless steel didn't rust, like regular steel. How is it going to rust off? I can see it becoming discolored with "rust" but not losing anything in the area in which it would fall off. It is cheeper...yes....and I do beleive you get what you pay for. But 1200-1500 for HKS is just stupid. At that point your buying a name I feel. Is there a dyno somewhere that prooves the HKS produces more power than the XO2 or another knock off? Just get the XO2 or KCR (tips look A LOT better) and some VHT flameproof clear coat and coat the exhaust...rust issue "solved". Atleast for a season (NE weather) Good budget buy in my mind, and apparently a lot of other.

some of these "knock off" exhausts cost less than the real thing for obvious reasons. one of them being poor quality materials. that is why they rust off. got doubts? just do a search for X02 rust on here and see what comes up. plenty of photo evidence. but hey, you want a cheap exhaust, just remember, you get what you pay for.

It is still made from stainless so it will be rust resistant. And I do plan on protecting it farther no matter what exhaust I get so I'm not TOO worried with run. My friend ran XO2 for awhile here (NE in winter) and he didn't have major rusting issues.....just some discoloring...nothing major though so Im probably going with that.
