Default Borla TD different sound from 04 Z/G35?

Got a question for the community cause i'm stumped. Is there any difference in the Z/G Borla Exhaust that would give the G a different Exhaust note? Theres this G in my town that sounds awesome and different then my Borla setup and I talked to the person that put their exhaust on and he said it's just a Borla TD. (I even got under the G and checked it out and that all it was and the rest of the car is bone stock.

I was able to duplicate the tone of the G with my Z with this setup and even went and added a Magnaflow X and Resonated Tp's to mine as with a Power Lab plenum spacer and still sounds nothing like this G.

Any idea's?

Well... the G's version of the borla TD has longer piping/wheel base... so it would be impossible to replicate the exact sound I think.

the resonator portion of the exhaust is extended 8-10inches further than your set up. Why and how it produces a different sound is beyond me but Gs already sounded different than Zs even with the stock exhaust.
