prob gonna go with the aam. Pretty reasonably priced and i dig the way it sounds for sure. i fell in love with singles with the bumper mod and lowered i think it looks/sounds better then any exhaust for the Z.

Ok tony im kinda confused i read everything but still dont quite get it. The shockwave exhaust is the one with the weird looking tip coming out the left side? If im looking at a single exhaust aam to be specific. The only thing i need is the xyz y pipe right? What about the resonator after the y pipe sorry man i just wanna get all this straight before i buy thanks.

as of right now it sounds really good (stock cats, XYZ + res and nismo mid and muffler).. like tony said earlier its a little tamer than the regular nismo with the nismo y, but it does get pretty freaking loud and great sounding in the higher RPMs when you're on it... i also feel some gains with this XYZ pipe that i didnt feel when i had the nismo y on there months ago, especially at freeway speeds, its much more responsive and pulls alot better (or so it seem atleast)... i also feel like the torque increased when going off the line...
anyways so far im really really happy with my choice and i think with the HFCs on there it should sound epic, and best of all... NO RASP!!! ..... hopefully..... (fingers crossed)
ill do a full report once i get everything on, as well as some sound clips and dynos...

The straight pipe module will make it more like a conventional Y pipe.
The resonator module will make it a resonated Y pipe.
The catalytic converter module will allow you to still use test pipes upstream of the XYZ so you can get the most power and still have the option reduce emissions.
If for any reason you later decided to switch your exhaust to a Dual or True Dual X you can still use your XYZ pipe.
The True Dual X pipe system uses a mirror image collector that clamps onto the XYZ pipe forming the X in the system.
It helps minimize the cost of changing from one system to another.

This exhaust is looking really interesting.
I can't wait for some Dyno testing! ^_^

Sorry in advance if these questions have already been asked.
What is the outlet diameter of the xyz pipe/resonator, and will it be ok with a stock exhaust for the time being?
I have non resonated test pipes (helix) with an otherwise stock exhaust system... which sounds pretty crappy imo... I assume the y-pipe resonator will help mellow out the fart can a little?

Although the full potential will not be realized when connected to an otherwise stock exhaust, it bolts right up like stock.

Yes, i will stay tuned. There is reason why i'm looking for used set of nismo without Y-pipe ( and JIC) . But Tony has used nismo, he wants to get rid of them so we will see.
Hopefully we can get a good results and sounds. I will wait for your vids and reviews.

Looking forward to the release tony, eta on the development of the other components that will work for this y-pipe? Have you thought of packaging your spacers and exhausts together?, kind of like vishnu... just minus the tuning aspect, in stages. (random thought as i was looking on thier site.)
