Just finished installing my new spacer and so far i am happy with the results(it adds a nice growl sound too). The only problem I ran into was with the guide pins but figured it all out fast enough. This was what i would consider my first true mod but if you have any questions fire em at me and i will try to help you out if you are planning to do this anytime soon.
congrats man ,
me 2 i have just installed my MD 5/16" iso thermal plenum spacer, :
1) u r right i feel there is something changed in the sound (u can see my mod`s in the sig) ,,, and very strange thing happen and i could be wrong THE RASP has become a Little smother than b4 ?? is that possible (( tony ?)) which is good
2) since my car was turned to be rich after i installed my HFC + APS 2.5" so i did lose some Trq ,and the spacer usually leans the motor NOW i can feel i have gained noticeable power back .
3) befor :.... after high speed when i let go the gas the RPM used to go down fast NOW it go`s down more smoothly than b4 with beautiful grrrrrrr from the exhaust ,how nice
_ the only thing that i need to check is i feel some vibration in the gas paddle(if i typed the name right
)in my feet i don`t know why ,,i don`t think its the struts-bar (i`m open for idea`s)
over all MD spacer

I wouldnt think that the gas pedal would ever really vibrate seeing as how the throttle is a "fly by wire" type of design. I'm just going out on a limb here but maybe try reseting the ECU or reseting the throttle body. There are directions on the last page of the install manual.

Like I said I'm totally going out on a limb but it may be worth a shot.

I completely agree. At least that would seem like the more reasonable conclusion...
But as it turns out the strut bar/plenum vibration reveals itself in the gas pedal.
Its not in the gas pedal itself but its in the chassi. When you go WOT and push the gas pedal hard against the floor the vibration in the chassi is transmitted from the floor, through the pedal and into your foot.
That's how it comes through.
