At least use some air ducting made for a car. You could have put your money and efforts towards one of the molded snorkels like posted above that they make for the same principle. http://www.evo-r.net/product/CAI/tube/index.htm Honestly, to keep peoples' fingers out of my bumper, I wish I had gone that route.
