Default Fast Intentions Cat-back Install

Well install is done and it sounds great.
Fit is very good a little adj. here and there to line up the tips but that is normal.

We did this on a lift I don't know how long it would take on jack stands because taking the stock muffler off is a pain.We used lots of pb blaster for the nuts and WD 40 for the hangers with air tools I recomand this.

Hand tools would be a pain also. And the new version comes with the drivers side unit able to move in or out to line up the tips.
This I think is more for the older z's, Mine is '03 and I got the tips lined within a 1/4 to 1/8 of an inch nothing you can really see. Total time with getting all the tools together and an oil and filter change 2 hours.

All in all butt dyno feels a little better but the sound is what makes this all worth it. Since this is the last of my N.A. mods I could not be happier.
Other mods are JWT popcharger and Motordyne spacer.

Thanks to the guys at THMotorsports and Fast Intentions.

Cool. I like the Fast Intentions cat-back with test pipes. It sounds perfect.

I dislike it with stock cats. It's too quiet for my taste.

We are possibly thinking of coming out with a race version so it will look a little more aggressive and be louder for the 350z community...

Well I like the sound with the stock cats, nice rumble at low end then opens up at WOT.
And does not attract a lot of attention from cops. I'm very happy it still sounds like a VQ only louder. Just my liking.

1+

When I went from OEM cats to resonated test pipes on this setup, I was very pleased with the enhancement the test pipes provided

If anyone is interested in spreading the word, A.H. has his Dominator for sale. $1,000.00 + shipping. I can vouch, it is worth every penny. Remember though it will only fit on a 2007 + 350Z...

Thanks, Tony

Fast Intentions is the only other exhaust I would have gone with if I didn't have HKS.

HKS is expensive and is H pipe, if they came up with an X pipe version I bet it would rock for an N/A car
