Default magnaflow catback AEM CAI combo

Hi Guys,
Just bought a 2008 350z touring touring

Any thoughts on the combo - put together. - was hoping for a deep throaty sound.

The only car i've heard with that exhaust was far from throaty, sounded more exotic. Try a Tanabe Hyper Medalian instead, that has an unread deep tone.

this probably doesn't help at all, but the magnaflow system I had on my accord was very throaty sounding - more american sounding then foreign.. I was really impressed with it.

I was really hoping the magnaflow system for the 350z followed suit.. I prefer a not overly loud muscle sound.. any tips on what to check out?

I heard a sound clip of the Magnaflow exhaust and it sounds like crap. It's sounded very raspy. Definitely not exotic, although everyone has their own definition of "exotic."

People tell me that my exhaust setup sounds throaty:

Actual no offense but I prefer my stock exhaust to the sound of yours. Too ricaroni. Has to be deeper than that.

Believe me no offense was taken. I have no idea what the hell that means.

Everyone has their own opinions.

Yes that's my video clip and no that is definitely not the magnaflow catback. If you read the title of my video it says "NISMO EXHAUST AND BERK HFC."

That's what I was thinking.. I was just confused at the wording in your first post.

The Nismo sounds great, btw.

Thanks bro.

BTW, I just found out that the OP was actually writing rice-a-roni to label my exhaust note.

No offense taken though. I can understand him being jealous, it happens.

No harm intended. I am sure the clip does not reveal the true audio quality of your exhaust as most clips do not due to the mechanism by which they are recorded.I was however reacting to the use of the word crap which discribe neither tone nor timber
