So one of my kintex cats has come loose inside so i gutted it and the other is not will this affect my back pressure at all. Should i gut the other one.

Same happened to me with Kinetix high-flow catalytic converters. One developed a rattle inside. Drove me nuts.

As far as right and left volume and velocity are concerned, I would prefer to have both sides the same. Not certain if there is a technical reason. Just makes common sense.

 

The left and right bank will have slightly different power and A/F curves.

 

either gut the other or replace.

Same thing happened to me on my Crawford cats - one side came loose inside - gutted both immediately (the rattlin' drove me crazy for the 1 day they were like that).
