I mentioned RAW in the subject cause these clips where off my $hitty laptop and I couldnt normalize them with Cdex. If anyone can normalize them that'd be great. Anyhow the two sound clips are of:

Borla Dual Exhaust (About 90 miles on it so far)
Nismo Headers
Lsdunique's CAT replacements

*Used Microsoft Sound Recorder, with sampling at 44.1 & 182kbps PCM, then converted with Cdex 2 mp3 format, but the normalization was using a 293% factor, noooo good!*

These clips definately dont catch the great sound of the exhaust in person I need a better recorder , anyone recommend a good recording device???

Great setup though. What stopped you for from going cheap with the borla headers.

 

Why don't you try recording it about 15 or so feet away. Too much distortion.

 

With the headers, I liked how they looked so that's why I went with them . As for Media player crashing, can't help there, I use Winamp, accept no substitutes . Seems like no one else has made the attempt to record clips, so figured I'd be proactive and try and get some clips. Problem is my laptop MIC really really sucks. I might tinker with more clips at a different distance, still back to the issue though of my laptop MIC. Need a better recording medium >
