Please refrain from posting unless you know absolutely what you are talking about.

Do a dyno shootout on your own car if you don't believe it. OEM airbox with K&N vs. any aftermarket intake.

Just because a car with "other mods" also has an intake, that does not mean that the intake was part, or any, of that gain.

hmmm..... CAI....metal piping....heat soak..longer piping....more heat soak....less air velocity.......vs. OEM plastic, less heat soak....... do the math son

I'm considering it after seeing some of the proof that some people are posting. I mean I had a pop charger and then read about the 06 airbox. So I sold the pop charger to get a blitz drop in. There is no real difference but with long term driving or stop and go, the stock box feels more consistent. The pop charger would get hot and the car would feel sluggish.

What if you had a CAI and wrapped the pipe with heat shielding materials? I understand the pressure drop from a longer pipe as well but Injen advertises that step-down piping. I'm no engineer and I'd like to see a GOOD, INFORMATIVE post about intakes. We need a CAI dyno shootout!
