not a problem. I was planning on doing this mod to my z when I first got it but the previous owner had already installed the Nismo exhaust. Now I need to find a way to make the nismo a little bit louder.

I heard it and it sounds like @ss. Don't do it unless you like to sound like a ricer.

i went to a muffler shop. They cut it off welded on new straight pipe peice replacing it. But make sure they know somewhat of what 2 do

Cut it off.

You'll need 2.5" piping. The diameter of the factory mid-pipe is 2.36", so the 2.5" will slide right over, and then it can be welded. The resonator in the mid-pipe is 12", so get about a 16" piece of mild steel piping, if you can find mild steel pipe. I think I could only find aluminized steel, if that's even a type of exhaust pipe. I can't remember.

I like the way it sounds. I don't think it was as loud as my stock exhaust with the test pipes I had a while back, but it sounds just bit louder. For the money, I think it is worth it.

I don't think it sounds ricer, at all. A little raspy after a cold start up, but after it warms up it's just a mild increase in loudness over stock.
