I know someone using it. But I don't know how you could like it better then the Nismo.

The tip look like 2 cambell soup can with its top cut off...it is really really nasty looking. It does not match the rear of the car at all...the tip is WAY too big. The finish isn't as nice as I would like also, the wall are too thin, and it really looks like a tin can.

As for the sound, quieter then stock, pretty much NO sound at all. At idle, there is no sound. At WOT, I havn't heard it, but I am guessing it is not much better.

And the guy have the Y-pipe installed also.

All in All, I would have to say go for Borla exhaust if money is an issue. The only thing nice looking is the polish drum...other then that, I would say go for something else.

I love my Injen SES. I like to hear about all the other exhausts also. I noticed that on most Z forums you don’t really find many people talking about the fujitsubo. I don't know why but for some reason I those tips better then the nismo tips that have a tapered look. As for my Injen, so far I have not heard anything that sounds as deep and exotic as it does.

Thanks, Looking forward to receive my Injen SES from Avalon then

I find not many people on the forum install Japanese exhaust systems...

I think the Titanium 5Zigen exhaust look good too

LOL - the "fisting" pic got me rolling.

Thanks for the pics though. If anyone has a nice nismo tips pic that would be a nice comparison to post on this thread.

john350z,

It might not have big sound or hp gains but I have to admit that I like the look of that exhaust the best out of all that I have seen. (not including Greddy cause its not released yet). I still like my Injen but if that Fujitsubo made a 15 hp gain and sounded like a deep exotic (like my Injen does) I would buy it in a second. Sweet ride John I like your choice of MOD's

dkent2-thanx for the compliment, but everybody has the dopest ride on this forum. man i had 2 japanese nismo bodykits in my hand but got them sold to other people. the japanese nismo kit is fiberglass, but the us is polyurethane. just waiting to see how the the nismo US front lip will look like. hopefully the kit will look just as good as the japnese one so that i will have my complete car already!!!!

Hum...interesting.

I am assuming the design is the same, but some how the exhaust on John's car look SO MUCH BETTER.

I guess it could be the titanium color, the guy I saw it on have the cheaper stainless steel one. His car is also white. The muffler have some weird japanese writing, at first I almost thought it was Korean.

The look is so cheap, and all the welding does not look good at all. I guess this goes again as to "You get whats you paid for", even if it is the same design.

Westpack has a sound clip of this exhaust installed on his Z. Just run a search in this forum on Legalis-R. The clip is a link in his signature.
