Default HKS TD + Testpipes

Finally got my testpipes on my HKS TD and I have to admit... anyone who thought their HKS was just a tad too quiet and wanted that extra grunt. Testpipes really brought out the HKS.

My .02 cents =]

Sorry no video---

I just took my kinetix resonated TP's off my hks catback due to one of the TP's being cracked. My car does sound sooo much quieter. Also feels more restricted :[. The only bad thing about TP's with the hks hi power is the rasp but it does sound a lot more exotic with them on.

I also have Headers, Kinetix Res TP's, and HKS combo. Luv it! Not exactly 'quiet' tho. Lol~

What kind of headers did you end up with and how did it affect the tone?

I have the non-res TP's and can barely tell the rasp-- was deciding to go with res, but got a deal on the non-res I couldn't pass up.

DC Sport headers. Sound is subjective, but I really like the way it sounds. If you like loud, it is definitely that. My bf said he heard me rounding the corner coming to his house... That corner is about 1 mile away. Lol~

test pipes with the HKS was a bit too loud & raspy for my taste, had to switch to HFC, couldn't be any happier. It was pretty nasty sounding with them though...
