Default Getting Rid of Test Pipes

Well....4 years later and it is time go through inspection. I need to take my TPs off and put the old cats back on. I definitely won't make the switch back as I am done with the sound.

Now heres the $64k ? (more like a $.64?)

The AAM TPs are connected to a AAM Y Pipe which is connected to the stock axle back. Will the stock cats bolt right back on with out fitment issues?

I guessing they will but thought i would ask.

Also...

Do you think it would worth to spend the extra money and get HFC then go back to stock? My stock cats have maybe 3k miles on them. Just curious about the potential loss of power.

I should probably know these things by now but its been so long since I've been stock.

It certainly should bolt on like stock. The loss with stock cats will be greater than 4HP though.
Probably around 6-8.

Good looking out. I am trying to price out some HFC's.

My exhaust sounds so horrible right now. Can't wait to change it up.

A resonated XYZ will certainly clean up more of the rasp with no loss of power.
