Default Is the a big difference between reg iso thermal and copper iso thermal plenum spacers

I'm gonna get a plenum spacer and thenismoshop.com has a sale with free shipping on them and the price isnt that big of a difference between the iso thermal and copper iso thermal spacers. Is there a big difference in performance as far as heat soak or not?

I think the Iso Thermal is better at not heat soaking so badly. Get the iso thermo spacer

the iso thermal helps with heat soak, but get the copper if it gets really cold in your area. So in NY, get the copper iso thermal

I think you (and some others on here) are confused as to what the 'copper' and 'non copper' parts are.

the iso thermal spacer is the same for both kits. 'iso thermal' relates to the Aramid material the gasket is made of.

The 'copper' is actually a copper throttle body plate that has a coolant tube connected to the top of it. you then reroute the coolant from the plenum through this to keep intake temps down, while still getting the throttle body up to temp so it doesn't stick in cold weather.

the 'non-copper' uses a bypass valve that you splice into the coolant line to the upper plenum that you can open and shut to control the coolant flow. I wasn't aware they were still making this kit. They both will work, but the copper bypass is the better kit because you don't need to adjust it.

I know motordyne's website probably explains all of this, I would look there.

let me know if you have any questions.

that is the kit I have. super easy install and worth the extra few bucks. I don't like the idea of cutting my hose, if I ever need to take it all off for some reason.
