So I got my FI HFC's and Intimidator installed and when I got my old parts, this was one of the pieces. What is it? And should it go back on the car? It's an 08 Base.

catalytic converter brace, if your new cats dont have the brackets you wont need it.
save it for later or sellit. maybe even get some tabs mounted to your cats.

yep, i just have this sitting around in my garage. Some HFC's and test pipes still actually use it but sometimes cause cracking because they dont allow the pipes to flex

Too bad you cannot use that support brace on your aftermarket cats. I would have no piece of mind if I didn't use my support brackets..
Thank God my Berks utilize the stock support brace.

I actually have one of the earlier Berk HFC that don't use the support brackets. It's been fine for me for almost a year.

Sorry for bring this thread back from the dead, but does anyone have the rubber bushings and bolts for the catalytic converter "brace" ???
I misplaced mine when I moved and I need them because the brace is rattling against the transmission.
