Default HR and non-HR motors....exhaust

Is there a difference between HR motors and non-HR motors as far as exhaust fitment? I was jsut told by someone they the exhaust they make is for the HR motor and not the non-HR....I was fairly sure that there is no difference. Any help?

pre-HRs will fit the HR. The only difference is with the CATs/test pipes. They are not interchangable.

Plus, be ready for a lot of flaming. This question has been answered at least 100 times on this website. Search a little bit.

i may sound just like the OP but what the heck is non-HR? is it like rev-up and non-revup 3.5 DE motor? I know all 07-08 have HR motor and the new 370Z w/ 3.7 HR but i've never heard of non-HR.

The easy test:

Dual intakes = HR motor (VQ35HR)
Single intake = DE motor (VQ35DE)
