I have fast intentions resonated test pipes on my 08 Z.. They are 2.5 in.. Inlet and out.. I want an exhaust that 2.5 to make it even threwout. Questions I have is. If I get an exhaust thats 2.36 (60mm). Would it honestly make a difference?? Is that a big enough diff to keep it as free flowing as I would want with a 2.5??

Yea.. I mean I know it's going bigger to smaller. Ain't the smartest. But didn't know if it makes a big difference in the rpms. Or reving. Or tuning.. Stupid fast intentions dsn't take american express lol.

 

I would go for a 2.5 if your tp are 2.5

 

Yeah I too would also choose a 2.5" exhaust if I had 2.5" test pipes..

It probably wouldn't make that huge of a difference if you went from 2.5" >> 2.36", but then I wouldn't have peace of mind if I had a bottle neck in my exhaust..

 

What 2.5 exhaust options are out there?? I waaas going with fast intentions. But they don't except american express and well. Thats how I'm buying my exhaust. I was looking for X02 exhausts but can't find any. Guess I needa look harder. I don't wanna go crazy on a price either. I'd PREFER true dual with my 08 Z. But does it really matter all that much a true dual to a single??

 

I think true dual exhausts are overkill..but that's just me..

Performance gains are negligible in your case. It doesn't matter what exhaust you get, you won't be able to notice any increase in power..

Get the one that sounds and looks the best to you.

 

Yeaa. I mite get my fast intentions I sold to my boy bck. If not I was considering maybe a stillen true dual or a new greddy ti-c.. Cuz its cheap. I don't wanna go crazy on price. Or a tanabe concept g. I gotta look.
