I re-read the article. Don't fret because they lost HP after putting on the most slapdash exhaust set-up I've ever heard of. Really, the whole "tuning" was slapdash. Seems they sandwiched two Porsche mufflers together and jerry-rigged some piping back to the headers. After all, they had exactly one day to fool around with the car, so whatever they come up with is destined to be sub-optimal. All they wanted was to have the ability to say they got their hands on the Z first and "tuned" it first, which is exactly not what happened.

 

Heh, I just looked at it again too and they didnt even go back to the headers, they diddnt even go back to the cats! They just replaced the muffler section, worse yet it stepped from 60mm to 65 mm, so they lost a bit of velocity not keeping it the same diameter all the way through, nice try though, for one day
