I like it, but bling isn't my thing my engine bay is just there to go fast I don't care what it looks like as long as it throws me back in my seat like your original. Can you make that one in like an oil color to match my bay? ;-)
So now you have original and extra blingy.
I need a brown engine bay at this point to match my new splatter job.

It is welded on both sides. The standard one is only welded on the outside. The inside weld is not straight forward. Because of the heat generated it requires to be placed back on the jig to avoid warping. Sometimes in the middle of the procedure, depending on what all is going on. I would not advise trying this on the other design, it will ruin the weld integrity.

Seriously, there were major time and pains associated with this piece.

Default Bling for me

I needed something to match my polished blower and I/C. This was a no brainer. Thank you Doug!

For those of you waiting for the perfect show piece it is now available I will post pics after the install. I pick up my car from MC Racing next Friday.

By the way Doug, it looks even better than I thought. Worth every penny.

Does the stock strut bar over the engine have to be removed like the original unit?

Can you offer one that is not polished but the exterior of the plenum is smooth enough to paint?

the plenum comes powdercoated silver, but I believe you can get whatever color you want it in also.

edit...
rereading, you probably mean one where the welds are ground off but not polished? That would be pretty nice.

I agree, I would buy this one (above) and sell mine. It is 50 -50 on the polished look. I know that those with the polished Injen are probably drooling over this , good job guys. I wish I lived closer.

Where in Nashville is Crawford located? Off I-40? And if so, what exit? I'm in Kingsport so it would be a good Saturday drive to pick some things up. Just got my z less than a month ago. Didn't realize there was anyone this close making parts for them!! Whats the contact number? Got me all excited now, haha. Thanks....

Thanks Rainman! I put the link on my "favorites" list. I have tried to find this web site for days to no avail. I was searching for "crawford.com", and never ran into the correct link. I am going to try and get the high flow cats to go with my Nismo headers and Injen exhaust and CAI intake.
