Me like.

I used to polish outsides of plenums and the time to do it is rediculous. It would take me 6hrs just to make it a mirror. Of course I had very primative tools to do so, but still......what a PITA!

That would be greatly appreciated. Or maybe he's gone to another Z site. I think I'll go look for him.
Well, from what I have seen, he never really dynoed the procharger with and without the plenum. He just dynoed it all, along with his other mods like the Borla headers and exhaust. Doing it that way, you can't get a true reading on the plenum and its effect under boost.

Sure we can... he dyno'd then locally our guy dyno'd without the plenum.

Max (Paul) was making more power with less boost. The engine with the headers, exhaust, and plenum was running FAR more efficient. That SCr didn't have to work NEARLY as hard to produce even HIGHER numbers!!!

Interesting, if we could see some numbers I bet you would start selling alot of these to the blown crowd, either TC or SC. I would REALLY like to see some numbers on the increase in HP with a blown setup and the plenum.

Was there ever a price posted for this? I just reread the thread and so no figures, just estimates...

Also, StrictlyZ also has a polished plenum. I'm presuming theirs has aesthetic gains only... no real performance improvements. Is this correct?

mcduck,

The quoted price is $1100 on the Crawford website. I am sure Doug can do something for the forum members' price .

You are right, Strictly Z's one is just a polished stock plenum.

I think the price will be going up on that piece. There have been complications with production, which make for far more man hours. I also think it may come down to a begging and pleading situation to talk Doug into making more. It never hurts to ask though!
