Default Crawford *BLING* Plenum

Before we start, if you have to ask the price you better just stick with the original. This is seamless and polished. It takes hours and hours extra, but it makes you tingle when you look at it! I want one on my car!

It is laying on VandyZ's "original" type Crawford Plenum. The second shot is side by side.

NOW we're talking.I didn't like the other one cause it wasn't 'show qaulity' Let's hear a price (so long as it' not DOUBLE the original I'd be game.)

Estimate just OVER double what a non-polished costs.

To eliminate the seams and have this level of polishing added near tripled the labor times.

That looks 10 times better than the standard one. I wouldn't have considered one based just on the look but now...

Now that is sweeeeeeet. Like others have said, I didn't really want the orginal cause I like to do the occasional car show, but that one looks awesome. Wish I wasn't broke, lol.

WOW! Looks MUCH better. But, what I want to know, how much to polish the important side?

My winter project was going to consist of getting the polished plenum from StrictlyZ but after seeing this I am going have to re-consider. I can get the look I want plus a performance gain, that's a homerun for me.

Please post final price when available.

Bah... you won't gain a thing from polishing the "important" side. Maybe with some extensive honing and extruding on the ports of the lower plenum... Even then 5hp tops MAYBE?!?!

now we are talking.. I think lots of people are holding back on buying the original one because of the seam... it gain lots of hp, but looks very "raw". Maybe we can do a groupbuy on this? hehe..

ITs very nice, but I like the 'raw' look myself. It means business

OK, Quick question...Is there anything different about this plenum fundamentally? Different welds, etc?

Basically, could i just buy a standard Plenum, and use a grinder and sand paper to smooth out the weld myself? Then polish using increasing grits of paper and some polish?
