Y pipe questions
Hi all, I have AAM test pipes and a Greddy Tic exhaust (single exit). I've had a weird rattling since I put on the test pipes. The sound comes from the y pipe section where the y-pipe tubes meet (confirmed after jacking the car up and reving it).
I've read somewhere on some other forum which I cant remember at the moment that the reason for the rattle noise is because of the flex sections of the stock y-pipe. Is this true?
My other question is are the flex sections truly necessary or are they there just as an extra measure of precaution Nissan took when designing the car?
My Last question is will any aftermarket y-pipe get rid of the rattle noise ?
Thank you for your non-sarcastic/smarta$$ed replies lol , looking for some help here .

I'm on my laptop in the garage with the car jacked up hoping someone can answer this really quick. I have resonated test pipes and the rest of the exhaust is stock btw. Anyone?
