Default test pipes

What do you guys think about test pipes on a 03' track model? will it make any gains with stock exhaust?

Do a search, its been discussed tons of times. Many people who did it liked the improved performance and sound.

Worst decision I have made. Rasp SUCKS!!!! Makes it sound like im driving a cheap car, just too cold right now to change it back. I would definetaly not recommend it!! The rasp outweighs the performance gain.

Get RESONATED tp's I had a set of helix test pipes and I hated the rasp and put my OEm cats back on. I really like the power up top that the tp's made so I went with megan V2 resonated tp's These pipes are awesome, rasp has been virtaully eliminated. At WOT there is super small amount of rasp. But when you left off the gas pedal and engine braking starts at parking lot speeds, you still hear that metal cord slap sound. From what I've read, that is the y pipe flexing?!?!?!? So I'm currently doing search to see what y pipe can fix this....its really minimal and petty, but am **** so...
