I've had my Berk HFC's for a while, and some time back, I put the car in the wrong gear, it took the RPM's down to under 500, and I've had my SEL on since. I should reset it, but just haven't - I ignore it. I'm happy wth the Berk's, and would do it again.

For the Berk HFC owners, did you have any issues with the support brackets cracking? I was about to purchase the metallic version, but i had to hold off on the purchase after a careful search, and discovered that the Berk HFC had issues in the bracket area.

I remember one person reported a crack where the support bracket attaches to the HFC, not the bracket itself cracking but at the welds..

My HFCs are holding up great so far. I check them every oil change..

just had mine installed today. No CEL light thus far and hopefully none at all. The quality of the product looks to be excellent. The installation was not as easy as i thought, even with a lift, we had trouble getting to some of the bolts but we got it done. i will say, i'm not super crazy about the sound it gives off, made it too loud for my taste. i also have a turbo xs catback and the sound was perfect, no its really loud for me. on a positive note, the car does feel a bit stronger and along with my intake throttle response seems to be a bit smoother now. hope this helps.
