Okay so I need to make this brief because I'm about to go out to dinner.
I had a shop in my area install these two parts for me the other day. Right before I get home I start to notice a weird sound. Its similar to the whining of a belt and cooing of a pigeon (weird I know).
Now I first noticed this sound when I was slowing down to stop at a red light, and noticed it every time after that when I came to a stop.
When I got home I linked this sound to my A/C. When I turn it on you can hear a belt squeak on the outside of the car, and the same grind/coooing on the inside but only briefly. Also I can hear the grind/cooing sound when I turn the A/C off, its more prevalent and louder when I turn it off.
I also believe that my Cold A/C is broken, although it's hard to tell because it is winter, and cold in PA.
Any ideas? I'm certainly no mechanic and the obvious answer is that something with my A/C or compressor or something is shot, but why would that have happened after the installation of these parts?
Thanks in advance.

I know that a lot of short ram intakes utilize the hard line bracket for things like the air box.
