what size diameter HFCs/TPs are you guys running?? 2.5" on the outlet?
2.5" on the outlet would make the most sense to me since the XYZ has an inlet of 2.5", and that way you have a smooth transition from cat to XYZ pipe...
I know that Fast Intentions make a 2.5 cat and t-pipe... I believe, Berk does not at the moment..

also, Rob, if you're saying that your exhaust is quiet-ing down and you want louder, why not try to take out the resonator and swap in the straight pipe module instead of spending $$ on HFCs? the only bad thing is that it will rasp more, but you may be happy with the sound and how loud it is, and itll be much cheaper...
ideally though, and this is what i plan on doing, is to run 2.5" HFCs with this exhaust and the resonator... ive had the XYZ with res before on my nismo and TPs and the resonator definetely reduces and almost eliminates rasp alltogether...

I'm don't want hfc for sound, I want them for power. The exhaust is still loud as hell, that's why I want hfc instead of the tp's. My apartment complex would have a riot if I had test pipes...LOL even now on a cold start it sounds like a cessena getting ready for flight in my garage.

yeah thats why i figured you wanted them... in one of your posts though i read that it started to quiet down after it got broken in some, and you were looking into HFCs/TPs... so i assumed that you wanted it a little louder.. my mistake
get the Fast intentions 2.5 cats and let me know how it sounds... this is the route i want to take... i just cant stand rasp so im hoping the resonator on the XYZ completely eliminates it.....

The clip with TP's actually is the best sounding combo I've heard so far with the Z. It sounds like a sports car with "muscle". I wanna hear how it sounds with various throttle inputs, downshifts, and in-cabin with the windows down/up.

thanks. my friends all think its too loud but its the loudness of sick deep tone.. lol i got a week before my friend ships out to naples italy for 2 years so i will try to use his hd camera again before he leaves
