Default rough idle question

hey guys, i have a question searching was of no help so i decided to make a new thread. i want to know how many people experience a rough idle when they installed an intake, maybe not all intakes do this or only sri's cause a rough idle. or was the 350z designed to have a slighty rough idle, it seems to me that the maf sensor is just too close to the filter and is getting too much air, thus kinda fooling the computer and possibly putting more fuel in? help me out guys im kinda **** about these things, im sure you are too.

It should idle properly unless something went wrong. Its probably related to the MAF sensor calibration.

Try cleaning it. It may clear up your idle.

IPA, carburetor cleaner, starting fluid... and gently spray it off with compressed air.
